Casey helps with the growth of Capital’s health plan customers across all lines of business. She works closely with managed care organizations to tailor a pharmacy benefit unique to the plan’s needs while adhering to state and federal government regulations. Prior to joining Capital Rx, Casey served as the Vice President of Pharmacy for Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island where she led the pharmacy department and strategy for 220,000 members across Managed Medicaid, Exchange, and Medicare-Medicaid Plan lines of business. Before joining Neighborhood, Casey was the Vice President of Medical Pharmacy Strategy at Magellan Rx Management (now Prime), and was responsible for leading the department, product and strategy that served more than 20 health plans nationwide and millions of lives across all lines of business. Casey graduated with her PharmD from the University of Rhode Island.
