Scott and White Health Plan began operations in January 1982 as a nonprofit HMO. First called Centroplex Health Plan, with a service area focused primarily in Bell and Coryell counties, we have since grown our membership to over 220,000 members and our service area to 77 counties. With the 2019 acquisition of FirstCare Health Plans, our combined plans offer Medicare, Medicaid, Marketplace and Commercial options and cover 350,000+ members and 171 counties throughout Texas.
