Benjamin Swig, MPH, MBA, NRP, serves as the Director of Healthcare Innovation and Strategy at Acadian Companies. Benjamin manages the employee health plan with 6500 members, Acadian Health Ventures + Accelerator, and is the Director of Acadian Health, Acadian Companies’ in-home care division. In this role, he provides a valuable in-home healthcare option and looks forward to branching out to work with other organization to implement in-home care solutions to their members and patients.


As a leader, Benjamin strongly believes in empowering his employees and giving back to those who need it most. He stands strong for what he believes in and serves the community with integrity to innovate and deliver life-changing care throughout the healthcare industry. He is also very results oriented, using data and hard evidence to back up the sustainable products and services he stands behind. Benjamin passionately provides thought leadership, strategic direction, market analysis, and project oversight to guide business development in areas that meet market needs and patient engagement.


Before joining Acadian Benjamin co-founded Ready Responders, a mobile urgent care start-up, worked as a paramedic and administrator with New Orleans EMS, and was the Acting Director of Training in the US Surgeon General’s Office supporting the US Public Health Service, directing medical readiness training in underserved communities throughout the US and public health and medical emergency response coordination.
