Dave Sockel is Chief Commercial Officer at Oshi Health.  In this role, he leads revenue growth activities, sales and business development, and marketing.  Dave brings over 25 years of health care industry experience including leading diverse functions for both entrepreneurial start-up organizations and mature, global firms.  While the majority of his career has been in sales and marketing, he has also led product development and operations activities and brings to us deep expertise in cross-functional execution.

Before joining us at Oshi Health, SilverCloud Health, Dave was the Chief Commercial Officer at SilverCloud Health, a digital behavioral health company with a strong focus on proven clinical outcomes and user satisfaction.  The company’s customers included health plans, employers, health systems and government entities, both in the US and across the globe.  Prior to SilverCloud Health, Dave was the Chief Revenue Officer at NovuHealth, a leading healthcare consumer engagement company focused on improving member health and plan outcomes and before NovuHealth, he was the Chief Commercial Officer at Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH).  Prior to IBH, Dave as its Chief Revenue Officer, co-founded and successfully took public, Connecture, a leading technology company focused on member acquisition, retention and engagement, working with over 100 Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial health plans and carriers.  Earlier in his career, he was a consultant for Ernst & Young’s health care consulting practice serving domestic and international payer, provider and government clients.

Dave holds both an MBA and MA in Public Policy from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana.

Dave is married to his wife of over 25 years where he fell in love with her singing when they were both moonlighting in an R&B band in Washington, DC.  (Thankfully neither quit their day jobs.)  They have 2 children in college and currently enjoying their time as empty-nesters with their border terrier Seamus.  Despite skiing for over 30 years, Dave is a self-styled “indoorsman”, continuing to dig for vintage jazz vinyl records to add to his several thousand album collection.
