Lisa oversees a portfolio of Medicare, Medicaid, D-SNP, and Health Insurance Marketplace products, including CHIP and STAR+PLUS.

An advocate for equitable access to quality care in underserved communities, Lisa’s progressive leadership and forward-thinking insights have informed healthcare policies and decision-making for government programs throughout the state of Texas.

As Community’s CEO, Lisa has leveraged the Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model to establish community-based partnerships addressing the social determinants of health for at-risk populations. Such efforts reflect her focus on innovation, accessibility, and sustainable growth, as well as her goal to advance a culture of development, empowerment, and accountability throughout Community.

Lisa previously served as Medicare Region President for Centene/WellCare and, prior to that position, she was the MMP, D-SNP, and STAR+PLUS Nursing Facility President for United Healthcare. Within those roles, Lisa designed and implemented fiscal and operational strategies to reduce inefficiencies, establish performance benchmarks, and strengthen key external relationships.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Kentucky, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland. In addition to completing the Executive Development Program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Lisa was invited to participate in management and executive development programs at Centene/WellCare and United Healthcare.
