As TAHP prepares for the Texas Covered Health Care Conference + Expo in November we are actively monitoring updates related to the COVID-19 pandemic and will maintain an educated perspective when making event-related decisions.
At a minimum, TAHP will follow all state and local guidelines to develop a comprehensive on-site plan to address the safety and well-being of all participants. We will provide details of the on-site preparedness plan to all attendees, speakers and exhibitors in the coming months.
TAHP will apply practical efforts to ensure attendees and staff comply with local health officials and venue recommendations. This may include: requesting vaccination status, proof of COVID test status, symptom tracking (including daily temperature checks), contact tracing, use of personal protection equipment, or other comparable measures.
By registering to attend Texas Covered as an in-person attendee, you are consenting you will comply with any protocols that are made by TAHP and the Hilton, and/or local health officials. Requirements for onsite attendance will be communicated before the start of the conference.
The Hilton Austin Downtown will host Texas Covered 2021. Hilton is in close contact with Austin Public Health (APH)who is monitoring the situation in coordination with Texas Department of State Health Services, the Center for Disease Control (CDC), local and regional public health and healthcare agencies.
Currently in accordance with CDC guidelines, the Hilton is requiring face coverings in all indoor public areas of the hotel for guests and Team Members.
Please continue to check back here as we will be updating with more information in the coming months.
