TAHP remains devoted to safeguarding our staff, attendees, speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors at our upcoming Texas Covered Health Care Conference + Expo this Fall.
We are monitoring the continued impact of COVID-19 and the evolving public health guidance regarding large gatherings. In addition to our safety protocols for the in-person conference you can now expect:
All attendees, staff, and vendors will be required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test within the past 72 hours before being allowed to check-in. However, if a person is fully vaccinated against COVID-19, showing proof of full vaccination will be accepted in lieu of a negative COVID-19 test.
You may not check in to the conference if you do not have proof of a negative COVID-19 test within the past 72 hours or proof of full vaccination. TAHP will have a COVID testing center onsite for attendees and a negative result will be accepted for check-in.
Face covering will be recommended at all Conference gatherings but are not mandatory; however, we strongly encourage them.
Attendees have the option to choose wristbands that depending on color will communicate their social-distancing stance. The bands incorporate a red, yellow, and green-light color scheme, with the red indicating ‘no contact,’ yellow meaning ‘elbows only,’ and the green inviting ‘hugs and handshakes.’
Physical distancing: 1. Seats in education session rooms will follow CDC’s guidelines. 2. Social distancing in all other gathering spaces and events will be encouraged.
The conference site will ensure routine cleaning and disinfecting of shared surfaces.
Hand sanitizing stations will be located throughout the conference space.
COVID-safe catering will be provided
