Biography

Don Langer is the Chief Executive Officer of the UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Texas and Oklahoma. As CEO of UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Texas, Don works closely with the State of Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) to support those jointly served by HHSC and UnitedHealthcare. In addition to the Medicaid programs administered by HHSC, Don has accountability for the Texas membership that is dually served by both HHSC and the Federal Medicare program. Don has worked for UnitedHealth Group for over 23 years serving in various leadership roles.

Don is also a strong advocate for children and recently served on the Board of Directors of the Texas Special Olympics and the Board of the Houston Alzheimer’s Association Don earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut, and is a Certified Public Accountant. He lives in Katy, Texas with his wife Lisa, daughter Marissa and son Cole.
