Tom Gilson serves as the Senior Vice President of the Health Plans division. He is responsible for managing business commitments, service support and contractual compliance activities for health plans.
Tom joined CVS Health in July 2013. He has extensive experience in health care and the insurance industry, including PBM services.
During his 17 years at Medco Health Solutions, he was the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the health plan segment, responsible for new business sales and service to existing health plan clients in the East. Prior to that role, Tom was the Regional Vice President of Account Management of all Medco clients in the East. At MetLife, he was an Account Executive for large national accounts and led a service team of Account Representatives.
Tom Gilson is a graduate of Colgate University with a concentration in Economics. He also has a Master’s of Business Administration degree in Finance from the NYU Stern School of Business.
